Chiropractic care works through the wonders of the spine and nervous system. The degree of health one can experience is dependent on the body being free from any interference to the nervous system. If the vertebrae of the spine (which protect the spinal cord and spinal nerves) are in any way disturbed, this causes interference with nerve impulses which are essentially responsible for every function our bodies undertake. This dysfunction is called a Subluxation. Subluxations are caused by insults to the nervous system by way of thoughts (mental stress), traumas (physical stress) and toxins (chemical stress). Chiropractors receive a minimum of seven years of intense training so they may detect and correct Subluxations.
